Bike rides
Located 1.5 km from the Ravel – Line 38, we’ll be happy to provide you with a covered area to store and clean your bikes. We can also provide you with information on bike rentals and routes.
Hiking
The gîte is in the heart of the Pays de Herve, with numerous signposted footpaths through orchards and meadows. From the gîte, you can wander from stile to stile.
Val-Dieu Abbey
Just 2 km away, this Cistercian abbey founded in 1216 offers guided tours and the chance to discover how Val-Dieu beer is made. Take a stroll through the abbey park, with its many remarkable trees.
Local produce
Are you a gourmet? The region is famous for its artisanal products: cheeses, charcuterie, syrups and ciders. Want to know more? Visit the Nyssen family-run artisanal syrupery.
Aubel market
Every Sunday morning, this local market offers tasty local produce in a friendly atmosphere.

A few kilometers from Aubel, you can visit the point where the borders of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany meet.
Vignole from the Loë forest
Le Bois de Loë is a 4-hectare Belgian vineyard in the hills above Aubel. Created by Ben Stassen, this family-run project aims to be a true wine tourism destination.
Fish farming at Fourons
